Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support scalable Oracle EBS and finance technology solutions with emphasis on architecture, integrations, and reliability.
- Act as a senior technical expert for Oracle EBS Financials, including system design, development, customization, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Lead integrations between Oracle EBS and internal or external platforms using APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native approaches.
- Build AWS-based finance services and integration components to improve scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
- Develop internal Oracle MCP and AI-powered components that improve automation, issue analysis, and engineering productivity.
- Apply AI to system analysis, documentation, debugging, and automation while validating outputs and retaining technical accountability.
- Deliver end-to-end technical solutions spanning architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
- Assess finance architecture and processes to modernize integrations, simplify workflows, strengthen controls, and improve maintainability.
- Ensure software development lifecycle, change management, and SOX-compliant control practices across finance applications and integration layers.
- Partner with Finance, IT, platform teams, and external partners on ERP modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years of experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting Oracle EBS solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience developing Oracle EBS components and integrations using APIs, web services, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, EBS extension frameworks, reporting tools, and related Oracle development technologies.
- Experience with Oracle SOA Suite, WebLogic, REST APIs, messaging systems, and cloud integration platforms.
- Solid AWS and cloud-native development experience for integration services, automation components, and scalable backend systems.
- Experience leading technical initiatives across architecture, design, development, issue resolution, release management, and production support.
- Knowledge of SOX controls, audit requirements, security, and change management practices in ERP and financial systems.
- Familiarity with Oracle MCP tools, reusable enterprise components, AI-enabled engineering tools, AI-assisted development, and enterprise AI use cases is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, problem-solving, systems thinking, and engineering judgment skills.
