Responsibilities
- Engage directly with front-office operators to identify workflow pain points and automation opportunities.
- Design and build applications and workflow automations using LLM tools, including Claude, MCP servers, and agentic workflows.
- Develop strategic direction for AI and automation within QDI’s Bronze/Silver/Gold data architecture.
- Set technical direction and best practices for the future AI² team.
- Grow into a team lead role after approximately six months, including managing and hiring for AI² initiatives.
Requirements
- Five or more years of software engineering experience.
- Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with non-technical business stakeholders.
- Some experience with data-driven applications and workflows.
- Hands-on experience with LLM/AI tooling, including agents, RAG, or automation frameworks, is preferred.
- Strategic mindset focused on building teams and capabilities beyond immediate tickets.
- Prior team lead or mentoring experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English.
