Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex enterprise systems, solutions, infrastructure elements, and architecture strategies.
- Design and optimize the digital chat platform for new features, stability, scalability, and AI-agent capabilities.
- Apply expertise in distributed systems, reliability, authentication, security, WebSockets, observability, data management, messaging, and cloud-native solutions.
- Provide strategic consultation on business processes, technology choices, requirements, architecture standards, and solution trade-offs.
- Review system designs, conduct impact analyses, and ensure functional, service-quality, systems-management, and integration requirements are met.
- Lead complex architecture and business problem resolution, strategic project initiatives, process-improvement programs, and technical walkthroughs.
- Guide, mentor, coach, and train engineers, developers, business users, and peers.
- Communicate with customers, partners, management, and departments across the organization and manage stakeholder expectations.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual and access requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Five years of experience in an IT discipline and five years of experience in a business discipline.
- Experience with distributed systems design, scalability, and reliability patterns in high-volume environments.
- Experience with authentication and token patterns and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Terraform.
- Ability to guide, mentor, and lead engineers in building high-quality applications.
- Experience with digital chat platforms, IVA Voice, AI-agent integrations, or Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience implementations is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including Cloud Run, and TypeScript and Node.js is preferred.
- Proficiency in security, WebSockets, observability, monitoring, logging, data management, and messaging systems is preferred.
- Health insurance industry knowledge and relevant cloud, AI, Java, DB2, Cogno, PEGA, Enterprise Architect, Project Management, or Google Cloud certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge of listed enterprise technologies including IMS, DB2, Oracle, Teradata, data warehousing, COBOL, Visual Basic, C, C++, SAS, Java, JavaScript, PEGA, CSS3, mobile technologies, JSON, Cognos, Hadoop, SQL, J2EE, HTML5, XML, Waterfall, and Agile.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $102,700 to $164,600 per year.
- Office-based position with a required physical work site.
- Travel requirement is 0%-25%.
