Responsibilities
- Own and drive distributed systems problems from inception through production launch.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and prioritize impactful problems and projects.
- Improve engineering quality, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Work on performance, concurrency, observability, data infrastructure, and ease of use.
- Mentor and grow engineers.
Requirements
- Strong distributed systems fundamentals and experience solving problems at scale.
- Ability to take ideas from concept through implementation and production delivery.
- Deep ownership of quality and customer experience, with focus on reliability, observability, performance, and ease of use.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity.
- Curiosity, positivity, resilience, and a constructive problem-solving mindset.
- Comfort using AI tools in everyday engineering workflows and willingness to integrate AI into engineering practices.
- Java experience is a plus but is not required.
