Responsibilities

  • Deliver full-stack features end to end from backend services through the user interface.
  • Build and maintain software that runs reliably on customer premises, including constrained environments.
  • Own technical decisions and communicate trade-offs to engineering, product, and customer stakeholders.
  • Translate customer needs into simple, durable technical solutions with the product team.
  • Share context and reduce single points of failure within a small, high-autonomy engineering team.

Requirements

  • Five years of experience with Node.js, React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Docker.
  • Full bilingual proficiency in English and French.
  • Ability to build coverage types such as parsers, file formats, connectors, and protocols.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end features from backend to interface, with examples.
  • Experience shipping software installed on customer premises.
  • Experience with binary file formats, data parsing, or protocol-level implementation, with examples.
  • Familiarity with constrained or air-gapped environments is nice to have.
  • Open-source contributions or a personal coding portfolio are nice to have.
  • Cybersecurity awareness or best-practice knowledge is nice to have.
  • Startup environment experience is nice to have.
