Responsibilities
- Guide a software development team through building solutions according to specifications.
- Develop key solutions for clients’ business-critical needs.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and professional-growth support to colleagues.
- Contribute expertise through analysis, estimates, reviews, and audits.
- Take initiative on projects, reinforce software development guidelines, and implement new techniques and technologies.
- Advise and consult with clients on technical decisions and direction.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience as a software developer or engineer, including at least 3 recent years using modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or Java.
- At least 2 years of professional experience leading a team of software developers.
- A master’s degree, bachelor’s degree, college degree, certification in a software-related field, or equivalent degree or experience.
- Intermediate or conversational French proficiency.
- Proficiency in full-stack web development, application testing, CI/CD pipelines, Domain-Driven Design, and at least one modern client-side framework or library such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or Svelte.
- Experience with cloud-hosting platforms, virtualization and containerization, mobile development, in-memory storage or caching systems, microservices, serverless systems, or Hexagonal Architecture is a plus.
