Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and verify low-level computational geometry and algorithm code as well as high-level application and business-logic code.
- Develop algorithms and specifications that support Altium’s software products.
- Provide ongoing support for existing source code across multiple products.
- Optimize software performance and memory footprints using profiling and diagnostic tools.
- Design and implement modular, extensible, efficient, compact, and cross-platform solutions.
- Communicate effectively in written and spoken English in a professional environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Understanding of modern programming techniques and patterns.
- Experience optimizing performance and memory usage with tools including PerfView, Microsoft Visual Studio Profiler, and RenderDoc.
- Ability to write efficient, compact, cross-platform code.
- Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures, including hands-on complexity analysis experience.
- Expertise designing and implementing modular, easily extensible solutions.
- Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Delphi is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CAD tools is an advantage.
