Responsibilities
- Participate in or lead workstreams within insurance transformation programs across Java, Guidewire, or EIS platforms.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs, implementation plans, and scalable solutions.
- Perform or support system development, configuration, integration, testing, debugging, migration, modernization, and documentation.
- Collaborate with agile teams, business stakeholders, clients, architecture, engineering, and R&D teams.
- Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
- Support mentoring, knowledge sharing, proof-of-concepts, pilots, post-implementation reviews, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in software delivery, consulting, implementation, or business transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience with Java and enterprise application development, Guidewire including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or Guidewire Cloud, or EIS.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly valued.
- Familiarity with integration technologies, APIs, messaging solutions such as Kafka, and distributed systems is highly valued.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
- Experience with microservices architecture, cloud-native solutions, insurance or investment-management sectors, insurance core systems, investment accounting, portfolio management, fund accounting, or capital-markets operations is advantageous.
- Relevant Java, cloud, Guidewire, Agile, or investment-technology certifications and global delivery experience are advantageous.
