Base Salary
$150k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Rapidly design, prototype, and deploy standalone AI applications for logistics and operational challenges
- Build agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making and task execution
- Develop AI-powered automation tools for operations, customer experience, and internal workflows
- Integrate LLMs, APIs, and data pipelines into production-ready services
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to identify and deliver high-impact AI solutions
- Iterate based on feedback, performance metrics, and changing business needs
- Ensure AI systems are scalable, reliable, and secure in production
- Implement guardrails, validation layers, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks to mitigate hallucinations, prompt injection, and data-security risks
- Contribute to architectural standards, technical best practices, and innovation initiatives
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience focused on AI/ML or automation
- Experience building and deploying AI-powered applications or prototypes end-to-end
- Strong understanding of agentic AI concepts, LLMs, and modern AI frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Claude, OpenAI, or similar LLM APIs, including prompt design and orchestration
- Experience with code-based AI frameworks such as Claude tool use/function calling, LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI
- Experience building or orchestrating workflows with n8n or similar tools such as Zapier, Temporal, or Airflow
- Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time systems
- Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation
- Proficiency in backend development using Node.js
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React
- Hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience, including services such as Lambda, ECS, and S3
- Familiarity with MongoDB and RDS using PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and building microservices
- Active GitHub contributions or demonstrated passion for emerging AI and data-system technologies
- Strong product-builder mindset and ability to prioritize high-impact solutions
