Responsibilities
- Build and operate large-scale, distributed systems for AI-ready web search.
- Develop APIs, frontends, and data pipelines for indexing, retrieval, and monitoring.
- Design and implement intuitive, high-performance user interfaces.
- Maintain web applications and other user-facing products.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and resource usage across the stack.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design.
- Collaborate with ML and product teams to deliver data-driven features.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in both frontend and backend development.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and modern frontend frameworks like React.
- Commitment to performance, reliability, and code quality on both server-side and client-side.
- Experience debugging production issues and optimizing performance bottlenecks.
- Curiosity about AI infrastructure and retrieval systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.
