Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, execute, and maintain automated tests and software tools.
- Perform API, database, data validation, and functional UI automation testing.
- Translate business and system requirements into technical requirements for automation solutions.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks, reusable Java utilities, and common functions.
- Debug and test automation code, software code, and SQL queries.
- Contribute to automation planning, execution, reporting, process improvements, and maintainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical resources to improve automation standards and tools.
Requirements
- Strong Core Java programming and object-oriented programming skills.
- Hands-on expertise in API testing, including Rest Assured and REST web services.
- Hands-on Selenium experience.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries for ETL database, data warehouse, and data validation testing.
- Experience designing, developing, and enhancing automation frameworks.
- Ability to debug automation code, software code, and SQL.
- Good understanding of CI-CD engineering and the software development process.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to learn and adapt to new processes.
- PL/SQL, SOAP web services, and functional UI automation experience are good to have.
