Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and automate large-scale distributed systems.
- Build tools and automation for higher availability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Monitor production and development environments to enhance customer experience.
- Work with delivery teams on software improvements for better availability.
- Participate in on-call rotation every 3-4 weeks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of public cloud experience (GCP or AWS).
- 5+ years of private cloud experience (Openstack, VMware ESXi).
- 5+ years of Linux experience (Centos/Ubuntu).
- 5+ years of networking experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, GKE, and Docker.
- Familiarity with Gitlab, ArgoCD, CI/CD methodologies and tools.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of config management tools like Ansible and Puppet.
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Prometheus or LogicMonitor.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Incident Management Process and SRE best practices.
- Experience designing large-scale distributed systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
