Base Salary
$210k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and scale highly scalable data infrastructure and core engineering platforms.
- Write high-quality, resilient code and establish architectural standards for backend services/APIs.
- Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical partner to product and engineering leadership.
- Translate business strategy into technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience with ownership of critical components or services.
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript + Node.js and/or Python.
- Experience designing, consuming, and implementing REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Strong database fundamentals in SQL/NoSQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Experience running production workloads with monitoring and alerting.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
