Responsibilities

  • Define and lead end-to-end test strategies for complex applications, integrations, and platforms.
  • Analyze requirements, architecture, and design documents to identify gaps and improve testability.
  • Plan, estimate, prioritize, and report testing for releases and major initiatives.
  • Create, maintain, and improve automated UI, API, and backend test suites.
  • Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines and optimize test environments, data, and tools.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Manage defects, facilitate root-cause analysis, and provide quality insights through metrics, dashboards, and trend analysis.
  • Lead quality governance and continuous-improvement initiatives and review test cases, automation scripts, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders and mentor junior and mid-level QA staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field.
  • 5–10+ years of software QA, test engineering, or related technical experience.
  • Proven experience leading QA activities within Agile/Scrum teams and architecting or enhancing automation frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and the test automation lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman, REST-Assured, or SoapUI.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms, test integration, and SQL/NoSQL databases and data validation.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst or Technical Test Analyst, CSQA, Selenium or test automation certifications, and Agile or Scrum certifications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with leadership presence and the ability to work autonomously.
