Responsibilities
- Analyze existing Laboratory tour and protocol resources.
- Design, develop, and create a SharePoint site, AI assistant, and supporting internal processes.
- Develop automated datasets and Power BI dashboards for upcoming tours and visits.
- Develop a secure AI assistant to support protocol tasks.
- Create procedural documentation for ongoing management of the site, dashboard, and AI assistant.
- Train department staff on using and maintaining the tools.
- Support testing, documentation, user feedback collection, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Be a college or university student in good academic standing pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, information systems, business analytics, or a related field.
- Have experience developing AI-enabled applications or using large language model APIs.
- Have experience with programming or software development.
- Demonstrate experience with SharePoint site design, Power Automate, Power BI dashboard development, or Microsoft Graph.
- Have experience documenting technical processes and training nontechnical users.
- Be eligible to access the Laboratory under Section 3112 of the NDAA and meet the stated U.S. person export-control requirement.
- Be able to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
