Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, highly available Azure cloud infrastructure for healthcare solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, application developers, InfoSec, compliance, and business teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to automate Azure resource provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Maintain monitoring, observability, and alerting for production systems and contribute to incident response.
- Monitor cloud resource usage and recommend cost optimization improvements.
- Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, and uptime strategies for critical healthcare applications.
- Maintain infrastructure, deployment, and operational documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure at scale.
- Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Experience working in regulated environments, ideally healthcare, with HIPAA and/or SOC compliance requirements.
- Hands-on exposure to cloud security practices including identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring/logging.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS or Google Cloud Platform experience, Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise, Azure App Services, networking and storage experience, Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service, and relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator.
