Responsibilities
- Build agent orchestration, context management, memory, and programmatic tool-calling foundations.
- Enable agents to perform work through sandboxed code execution and permission-aware data access.
- Develop evaluations for multi-turn workflows to measure agent quality and reliability.
- Integrate models and build inference infrastructure for production scale.
- Create shared platform foundations that help product engineers deliver capabilities effectively.
- Provide practical technical leadership and help other engineers succeed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong TypeScript skills; Python familiarity is a plus.
- Experience shipping LLM-powered systems to real customers and owning them after launch.
- Hands-on experience with agent orchestration, tool calling, and context management.
- Experience with sandboxed execution, inference infrastructure, or similarly demanding production systems.
- Sound engineering judgment, a practical leadership style, and a track record of helping other engineers succeed.
- Experience with evaluation frameworks, failure investigation, or procurement is helpful but not required.
