Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to engineering teams while promoting technical excellence.
- Design, implement, deploy, and operate complex, scalable, resilient, and maintainable IAM software solutions.
- Lead authentication, authorization, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, identity lifecycle management, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and policy-management solutions.
- Partner with engineering, product, business, design, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers and guide less experienced specialists.
- Contribute to strategic planning, technology innovation, product roadmaps, risk management, governance, and control improvements.
- Advise stakeholders and senior management on functional and cross-functional technical impacts and alignment.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and running ForgeRock COTS-based IAM solutions, including Ping Gateway, Ping AM, Ping IDM, and Ping DS.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based, scalable, and resilient IAM solutions for large corporate organizations.
- IAM engineering experience across authentication, authorization, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, identity lifecycle management, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and policy management.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Java, and Python, with comfort developing APIs and microservices.
- Strong working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles.
- Experience with cloud computing, with AWS essential and Azure desirable.
- DevSecOps experience and knowledge of the Product Operating Model.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tooling, with Chef essential and Ansible desirable, and knowledge of containerization.
- Knowledge of authentication and biometric system design is highly desirable.
- Open-source experience is desirable.
- Ability to provide strategic thinking, business acumen, risk and controls leadership, change and transformation expertise, and stakeholder influence.
