Base Salary
$135k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain server-side software solutions including service APIs and web applications.
- Write efficient, reusable, modular code and contribute to scalable, maintainable, and secure software architecture.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze complex technical problems, troubleshoot software issues, and propose innovative solutions.
- Contribute to project planning, prioritization, and delivery schedules.
- Implement and follow software-development security best practices and stay current with technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
- 4+ years of Java development experience.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Expertise with Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience implementing SSO solutions such as SAML and OpenID.
- Experience with MySQL or another RDBMS.
- Ability to take initiative, help define product design, and work in an agile development process.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be comfortable working around dogs in the office.
