Base Salary
$182k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead customer technical projects by designing and delivering production-grade systems, reference architectures, custom applications, data ingestion, and ML/AI integrations.
- Own architecture and design decisions for secure, scalable solutions aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end data architectures and applications spanning data pipelines, AI/ML models, and user-facing interfaces.
- Guide customers through architecture, implementation, evaluation, adoption, training, and technical enablement.
- Collaborate with engagement managers, project managers, architects, engineers, customer support, and customer stakeholders to deliver technical components and resolve issues.
- Embed with customer teams, manage broad stakeholder relationships, and contribute reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics, or software engineering.
- Fluency writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
- Working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems among AWS, Azure, and GCP, with expertise in at least one.
- Deep experience with distributed computing using PySpark and Apache Spark, including knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
- Experience with CI/CD for production deployments, MLOps, ML/AI models, AI APIs, and production end-to-end data architectures and applications.
- Experience with technical project delivery, documentation, whiteboarding, enterprise clients, and managing conflicts across broad stakeholder groups.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience in enterprise data transformation and warehousing within distributed data systems.
- Preferred: expertise in MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
- Preferred: certification in a Databricks-specific domain.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government Secret clearance are required; active Secret or higher clearance is strongly encouraged.
