Responsibilities
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to develop software for target applications.
- Develop and evaluate hardware-software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system designs.
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded real-time software.
- Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
Requirements
- Pursue a master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts and sciences, or a related field.
- Alternatively, have completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field within the last 12 months.
- Preferred skills include experience with one or more listed programming languages, platforms, operating systems, software technologies, real-time controls, wireless systems, software security, robotics, object-oriented analysis and design, Hadoop, Android, or embedded systems.
