Base Salary
$87k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide direct stakeholder support by answering questions and resolving technical issues.
- Design and implement software meeting customer and certification requirements.
- Produce high-quality software builds in an integrated test environment.
- Derive software requirements, create UML design diagrams, and code solutions from those diagrams.
- Collaborate with Senior and Principal Software Engineers and mentor junior engineers and interns.
- Assist with software requirements verification and testing.
- Develop expertise in strategic nuclear deterrence and communications technologies.
- Potentially take on leadership roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Cost Account Manager, or Software Lead.
Requirements
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required before the start date and on day one.
- Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree and at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience with Agile development methods, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Preferred: experience supporting aerospace, defense, or nuclear command-and-control systems governed by DO-178C, MIL-STD-498, or equivalent standards.
- Preferred: exposure to Earned Value Management principles.
