Responsibilities
- Design and develop software according to requirements and system-level design documents.
- Develop software interfaces and applications between hardware, firmware, and software platforms.
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and formal testing.
- Develop software test plans, procedures, and technical documentation, and collaborate with test engineers on automation.
- Investigate root causes, implement solutions, participate in peer reviews, and repair tracked defects.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experiments, build prototypes, and evaluate results.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus at least 2 years of computer/software engineering experience; alternatively, a graduate degree with 0–2 years of related experience or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 2 years of professional C++ or C# development experience.
- Preferred qualifications include Modern C++, C#, Python, Bash, Agile Scrum/Kanban, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Linux, GreenHills Integrity RTOS, Doxygen, LaTeX, SonarQube, and vcpkg experience.
