Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reliable data pipelines for clean, structured data.
- Own the architecture of complex data models for real-world transportation data.
- Lead end-to-end development across the full data lifecycle.
- Monitor data quality and reliability, resolving discrepancies proactively.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify data needs.
- Contribute to the adoption of modern data stack tools like DBT, Airflow, and AWS services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with production-grade Python and SQL.
- Solid data warehousing experience with tools like Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Hands-on familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda and S3.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Fluency in AI tooling and ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to translate business needs into data models.
- Self-driven with a knack for solving complex problems.
