Base Salary
$135 - $150/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with operators, with support from senior engineers, to understand processes and pain points and translate them into technical requirements
- Build internal tools, automations, and workflows that improve operational throughput, accuracy, and visibility
- Own well-scoped projects or features through implementation, testing, rollout, and iteration
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and follow established engineering practices for internal tools
- Collaborate with operators, engineering, and product partners to gather feedback and drive tool adoption
- Develop technical judgment through code review, pairing, and proactive feedback from senior engineers
Requirements
- 0–2 years of software engineering experience, including some experience owning features or small projects through implementation and production support
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with non-engineering stakeholders
- Ability to write clean, scalable code with guidance and develop sound engineering judgment
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a record of shipping incremental improvements
- Exposure to internal tools, workflow systems, or automation through internships, prior roles, or side projects is a plus
- Exposure to workflow or backlog systems, intake processes, operational analytics, instrumentation, dashboards, or QA is extra credit
- Coursework, projects, or experience with case management, review and approval flows, or data quality tooling is extra credit
