Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Ensure security requirements are addressed throughout solution and application enablement and sustainment lifecycles.
- Design, develop, code, integrate, and test complex cross-functional security solutions.
- Lead code and design reviews, engineering efficiencies, planning, and cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Resolve complex production issues and lead end-to-end troubleshooting across applications and systems.
- Define direction, standards, reference architectures, engineering patterns, and roadmaps for authentication and identity technologies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot complex systems, tools, vendor integrations, and security issues.
- Tune, harden, and enhance security solutions in collaboration with security analysts, IT, business partners, and architecture teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership as an authentication and identity subject matter expert.
- Ensure business risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
- 8 years of related experience in Security Engineering and/or security-focused Information Technology, including leading company-wide technology projects or initiatives.
- Experience architecting, engineering, and supporting enterprise authentication solutions using Okta Workforce Identity Engine, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, ADFS, and related identity provider technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing authentication integrations using SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, and other federation protocols across complex application environments.
- Extensive experience defining authentication standards, reference architectures, engineering patterns, and technical roadmaps.
- Hands-on experience with MFA, adaptive authentication, risk-based access controls, passwordless authentication, conditional access, and Zero Trust security principles.
- Experience leading and owning security strategies, solutions, or initiatives through successful completion.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex applications and systems and resolve production issues.
- Experience advising on security architecture, methods, and controls for security, compliance, and audit requirements.
