Base Salary
$63k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end web applications that leverage AI and LLMs in a secure DoW environment.
- Develop Python backend logic and APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.
- Build frontend interfaces with React, Vue, or Streamlit for chat interfaces and search dashboards.
- Design and manage relational and vector database architectures for application data and AI-searchable embeddings.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation workflows for secure internal-document search and reference.
- Containerize and package applications with Docker or Podman for stable deployment.
- Support secure or air-gapped deployment, local model execution, AI orchestration, and guardrails where applicable.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and residence in the Dayton, Ohio area are required.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and API frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask is required.
- Experience building user interfaces with React, Vue, or Streamlit is required.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and vector databases such as pgvector, Milvus, or Chroma is required.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing RAG workflows is required.
- Experience with Docker or Podman and Git is required.
- Understanding of secure or air-gapped deployments in restricted or IL5+ environments is desired.
- Experience with Hugging Face, Llama 3, Mistral, vLLM, llama.cpp, GGUF, LangChain, or LlamaIndex is desired.
- Ability to implement AI guardrails and mitigate hallucinations is desired.
- Minimum NACI clearance is required to start.
