Responsibilities
- Implement microservices and event-driven workflows for system integration.
- Build and maintain REST APIs for loan origination and payment processing.
- Navigate and contribute to existing internal services.
- Develop frontend components in React/TypeScript.
- Write testable and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead on system design.
- Partner with Product and Compliance to ensure reliable implementations.
- Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for integration points.
- Support audit logging and data reconciliation.
- Identify and flag technical risks early.
- Leverage AI development tools for efficiency.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience building backend services in Golang.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs and API testing tools.
- Experience with frontend applications, preferably React/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Understanding of observability concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with AGILE/Scrum principles and JIRA.
- Strong testing instincts for unit and integration testing.
- Ability to navigate and contribute to unfamiliar codebases.
- Strong communication skills.
