Responsibilities
- Architect, operate, and optimize cloud data platforms across AWS environments.
- Own performance, scale, high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and multi-region strategies.
- Build and support AI-native data infrastructure for 1Exiger.
- Ensure data security and compliance with FedRAMP High requirements.
- Partner with security teams on vulnerability management and continuous monitoring.
- Drive cost optimization and modernization across data estates.
- Promote DevOps best practices and mentor engineers on data architecture.
Requirements
- 8+ years of database administration experience with cloud data architecture.
- Deep expertise in cloud database design, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms with strict uptime and security needs.
- Working knowledge of AI data infrastructure concepts.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, AI/ML, and security teams.
