Responsibilities
- Create test scenarios from user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Manage product regression suites, including release and signoff processes.
- Develop automated tests and improve the automated test strategy for a multi-user web application.
- Drive advanced testing techniques to improve quality and productivity.
- Debug failed tests, identify root causes, and report findings to the engineering team.
- Provide input to design and development to improve testability, quality, and user experience.
- Identify and raise bug reports from manual, automated, and regression testing.
- Validate product functionality and ensure products and components provide a strong user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum 1–2 years of Software QA experience writing test automation scripts.
- Proven experience testing complex software, systems, and platforms with a strong understanding of software engineering principles.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, QA processes, and testing concepts.
- Working knowledge of testing web-based systems and solid programming knowledge.
- Experience with CI/CD and familiarity with Git.
- Familiarity with databases and ability to write SQL.
- Experience with Eggplant Server and Eggplant Functional is an added advantage.
- Comfort working from the command line on Linux and Windows.
- Experience with GUI-based test tools, functional testing, model-based testing, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Python, particularly Pytest, is a bonus.
