Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend the regression test suite for Studio and Test Controller APIs.
- Validate consistent behavior across major API and framework migrations.
- Test virtual-user types including Web, TCP/IP, Citrix, and custom protocols across C++, Java, and .NET engines.
- Distinguish real regressions from environmental and test-infrastructure noise and report findings clearly.
- Keep test environments and baselines clean and reproducible.
- Verify builds, installers, and packaged outputs after builds.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- 3–5 years of experience in software QA and writing test-automation scripts.
- Strong Python skills and working knowledge of the Python ecosystem, including uv.
- Strong experience with Test Driven Development and testing-pyramid concepts.
- Experience with Google Test, pytest, unittest, and JUnit.
- Some exposure to C++, Java, and C#; Git experience for source control.
- Experience with Eggplant Performance or Eggplant Functional is an advantage.
- Knowledge of agile working methods and build orchestration with Ant or MSBuild is a bonus.
- Familiarity with performance/load testing, virtual users, protocol-level test scripting, SWIG or other cross-language interfaces, and OSS license compliance is beneficial.
- Experience directing AI coding assistants, creating scoped test plans, reviewing AI-generated diffs, and evaluating when to trust or verify their output is a bonus.
