Responsibilities

  • Execute software quality activities, including testing and risk assessment, across the software development life cycle.
  • Design and execute test plans and investigate technical implementations in depth.
  • Manage components of a defect database and create custom reports on test coverage and defect data.
  • Task remote testers, provide feedback on their effectiveness, and instruct junior QA and external testers.
  • Work embedded with developers, artists, producers, and content creators to protect the player experience.
  • Recommend development-process improvements and innovate on approaches to mitigate quality risks.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of software quality assurance experience with demonstrated success leading testing efforts on a team.
  • Experience designing and executing test plans.
  • Experience managing components of a defect database.
  • Experience tasking remote testers and providing feedback on effectiveness.
  • Experience working embedded with developers and content creators.
  • Experience creating custom reports on test coverage and defect data.
  • Ability to work independently with little day-to-day instruction and solve increasingly complex quality problems.
  • Preferred experience across mobile, console, and PC platforms; content development and integration pipelines; Unreal Engine 4/5; and Perforce.
  • Preferred ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester, or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST) certification.
