Responsibilities
- Design and develop technical solutions for new features and product enhancements.
- Focus primarily on search functionality across the Fastmarkets digital platform.
- Maintain and support existing Fastmarkets software.
- Develop scalable, flexible, resilient, and secure solutions using sound software engineering principles.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation and testing while retaining ownership of design and code quality.
- Write clean, readable, testable, and efficient code.
- Design and implement appropriate automated and manual tests.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering standards.
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product developers, business analysts, product managers, cloud engineering, SRE, and enterprise architecture.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes and help resolve support issues where appropriate.
Requirements
- Strong experience with .NET and C#.
- Strong experience with GraphDB and Elastic Search.
- Strong understanding of concurrent programming and concepts in object-oriented, distributed, and cloud computing.
- Experience with unit testing, continuous integration/deployment, and test automation.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Service Bus.
- Experience with distributed systems, REST, and SOA.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
- Strong English communication skills, including technical documentation and verbal communication.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and geographies in a fast-paced environment.
