Base Salary

$180k - $260k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive Sprinter Health’s AI enablement strategy across multiple business and technical functions.
  • Embed with teams to identify high-leverage AI use cases and build working technical solutions.
  • Build bespoke agents, background workflows, internal tools, automations, and shared knowledge systems.
  • Create reusable playbooks, prompt libraries, skill libraries, workflow templates, and reference architectures.
  • Evaluate AI tools and make build-versus-buy recommendations based on safety, scalability, cost, and usability.
  • Tune AI coding assistants and agentic workflows for company codebases and development practices.
  • Build evaluation sets, benchmarks, review patterns, and safe deployment processes for AI systems and workflows.
  • Partner with SRE, IT, Security, Legal, and clinical stakeholders on approvals, access patterns, deployment, and PHI-safe guardrails.
  • Run office hours, trainings, hackathons, and hands-on enablement sessions.
  • Measure AI adoption, productivity gains, quality improvements, and operational impact, and communicate results to leadership.

Requirements

  • Production-quality software development experience in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI assistants, agents, tool calling, structured outputs, RAG, or other applied AI patterns.
  • Experience building internal tools, automations, workflows, developer productivity tooling, AI-enabled applications, or agentic systems.
  • Experience designing evaluations, benchmarks, or QA processes for AI workflows or software systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD, testing, deployment pipelines, or production release processes.
  • Ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translate them into scoped technical solutions.
  • Experience enabling teams through documentation, training, office hours, workshops, hackathons, or reusable templates.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools.
  • Ability to balance speed, safety, usability, maintainability, and cost in technical decisions.
  • Clear communication skills for audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
  • Experience operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Preferred experience operating at Senior, Staff, or equivalent scope and driving technical decisions across multiple teams.
  • Preferred experience with internal AI platforms, agent frameworks, evaluation systems, workflow automation platforms, developer productivity tooling, MCP servers, RAG systems, or business-system integrations.
  • Healthcare data, PHI, HIPAA-aware workflow, regulated-environment, security, IT, legal, compliance, or clinical collaboration experience is preferred.
  • A track record of teaching, writing, workshops, talks, or training that makes complex technical ideas accessible is preferred.
