Base Salary

$98k - $211k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Maintain source code branches, build environments, software and hardware configurations, and development and test baselines.
  • Create and validate product builds and recommend improvements to configuration management, build validation, and delivery methods.
  • Support teams with software configuration management and build activities, troubleshoot problems, and communicate solutions.
  • Participate in corporate-wide configuration management processes, functional and physical configuration audits, and defect resolution.
  • Train and mentor staff, including supervising junior employees on project-level tasks.
  • Lead or co-lead process improvement initiatives and recommend changes based on industry trends, standards, and technologies.
  • Interface with internal teams and vendors, manage related budgets, and report project status and metrics.
  • Ensure work products meet or exceed FINRA standards and comply with technology policies and security controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of related experience.
  • At least three years of senior-level software configuration management or build engineering experience in a custom software development organization.
  • Knowledge of configuration management best practices and experience with SCM and build automation tools.
  • Experience with at least one contemporary scripting language and at least one object-oriented programming language.
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships.
  • Ability to stay organized, manage competing priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Base salary ranges from $97,700 to $211,400 depending on location, with discretionary bonus eligibility.
