Responsibilities
- Develop and manage scalable, high-performance applications using .NET technologies.
- Provide technical and business support for Citi applications and resolve application issues.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, middleware, dependency injection, and background services.
- Participate in application releases from development and testing through production deployment.
- Perform post-release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates.
- Maintain applications and operating environments with a focus on stability, quality, functionality, and service-level expectations.
- Support application users, traders, internal technology groups, and vendors as a technical liaison.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Assess risks in business decisions and support compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Advise or coach new and junior analysts and contribute to innovation and process improvements.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing and managing applications.
- Advanced knowledge of C#, object-oriented programming, LINQ, and asynchronous programming.
- Expertise with .NET Framework, .NET Core 2+, ASP.NET Core, Angular 16+, SQL, and Python.
- Experience building RESTful APIs, middleware, dependency injection, scalable applications, and .NET Core microservices.
- Proficiency with Entity Framework Core, database-first and code-first data access, Windows Services, and unit testing.
- Experience with xUnit, NUnit, Moq, Serilog, NLog, and Microsoft.Extensions.Logging.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, Kafka or messaging queues, jQuery, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.
- Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, and uDeploy; exposure to ECS and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to AI tools and agents and Big Data/Hadoop.
- Bachelor's degree, B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, writing, documentation, prioritization, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
