Base Salary
$132k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and support a secure, decentralized data-sharing framework for consistent exchange across platform instances.
- Align relational, indexing, and specialized time-series storage strategies for fast retrieval and long-term persistence.
- Maintain complex, multi-domain data models across dozens of microservices while ensuring data integrity and contract consistency.
- Scale data systems across bare-metal and cloud environments in collaboration with infrastructure and platform teams.
- Design and implement resilient data patterns, including CQRS and secure store-and-forward pipelines, in distributed microservices environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable experience.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with deep expertise in Python and/or Go in highly distributed environments.
- 4+ years of experience designing and optimizing relational schemas in PostgreSQL and using Elasticsearch for indexing and retrieval.
- 3+ years of experience implementing and scaling event-driven architectures with Kafka and using Redis or similar key-value stores for caching.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS security clearance.
