Base Salary
$156k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and expand the AI intelligence layer using Snowflake Cortex and AWS Bedrock.
- Build AI tools and services supporting knowledge graphs, knowledge management, and semantic search.
- Architect, design, and code shared libraries that abstract business logic across data pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to advance the Data and AI strategy.
- Develop and document standards and best practices for configurations, naming conventions, partitioning strategies, and related platform practices.
- Ensure operational efficiency, quality, documentation, data quality, and data governance for AI and data projects.
- Engage with platform customers to prioritize innovative offerings and incremental improvements.
- Participate in and advocate for team collaboration and process-improvement ceremonies.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience developing large projects.
- Strong algorithmic problem-solving expertise and fundamental programming skills.
- Strong Python and scripting-language experience, including knowledge of machine learning libraries.
- Proficiency with AWS Bedrock, Snowflake Cortex, and Databricks Genie.
- Proficiency with data engineering technologies including Airflow, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with knowledge management, semantic search, graph databases, OpenSearch, internet-scale platforms, proof-of-concept development, automation, and open-source or GitHub contributions.
