Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and innovate large-scale developer-facing platforms, web applications, and backend services.
- Own capability-level architecture and contribute to application, API, and service design.
- Gather functional requirements and produce technical specifications, project plans, and test plans.
- Resolve defects and bugs across testing, pre-production, production, and post-release environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and new team members while serving as a technical leader and go-to expert.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, analysts, business partners, and other Intuit teams.
- Support and build solutions for Legal and Privacy Technology capabilities.
- Lead meetings, present technical topics, and explain complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience developing web applications.
- BE/BTech in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience with software design and architecture processes and technical leadership.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful or GraphQL web services, DynamoDB, React JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, or Camunda.
- Experience with AWS services including S3, SQS, KMS, Lambda, RDS, and AppStream.
- Experience with unit testing, Test Driven Development, domain-driven design, and hexagonal architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with security best practices, API Gateway or Service Mesh platforms, and privacy solutions.
- Experience with Agile Development, Scrum, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience contributing to or leading open source community projects is preferred.
