Base Salary
$66k - $85k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement web applications and websites to specifications.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Ruby on Rails and PHP web applications.
- Meet with faculty and staff to assess application needs.
- Follow coding and maintenance standards and ensure applications meet regulatory and usability requirements.
- Monitor site and application performance and research, recommend, and implement improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s-level degree in computer and information science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Experience with project management, database design and development, SQL, and MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with users from varying backgrounds.
