Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution and system architectures across applications, integrations, data flows, and infrastructure.
- Create architecture artifacts including solution diagrams, logical and physical views, sequence flows, C4 models, ADRs, and reference architectures.
- Define API, messaging, event-driven, batch integration, data exchange, deployment, and infrastructure patterns.
- Review and approve solution designs and technical proposals while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and technology strategy.
- Guide implementation teams, resolve complex technical challenges, and support estimation, planning, and technical risk assessment.
- Define scalable, resilient, secure, observable, and operationally ready architectures and identify performance optimization strategies.
- Maintain architecture governance, communicate decisions, support stakeholder alignment, and ensure security and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Strong experience in solution or system architecture roles.
- Ability to analyze complex system landscapes, dependencies, integration patterns, and design trade-offs.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, integration patterns, API-driven architectures, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience defining scalable and resilient architectures, non-functional requirements, system decomposition, service boundaries, and deployment models.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and/or on-premises environments.
- Understanding of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Experience with architecture documentation practices including the C4 model, ADRs, diagrams, and reference architectures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Preferred: experience in telecom, billing, or large enterprise environments; familiarity with TOGAF or similar frameworks; exposure to security architecture, compliance, platform engineering, vendors, and technical solution evaluation.
