Responsibilities
- Contribute to product initiatives across multiple products and design, develop, and troubleshoot complex software features.
- Perform full-stack engineering using Node.js and Kubernetes.
- Develop and present cloud strategies for products to the leadership team.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert across multiple product domains and own one or more products.
- Synthesize internal and external input into product requirements and advise on their impact on product and business outcomes.
- Guide testing strategy and communicate complex technical topics across the company.
- Influence architecture and code design while considering downstream implications across the software development process.
- Provide technical thought leadership, innovation, and cross-team improvements.
- Architect application modules and select data structures and algorithms for performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in feature scoping, estimation, planning, backlog management, and collaboration with architects and product owners.
- Produce high-quality code and prototypes while managing competing priorities and communicating with organizational stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of related experience, or a Ph.D. with 14 years of experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience designing and deploying secure, scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and cost-efficient solutions in AWS.
- Ability to write clean, concise, understandable code and understand scalable application design principles.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Full-stack experience with Node.js and Kubernetes.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and cross-geography communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
