Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software projects.
- Estimate testing resources and effort, incorporate automation-first practices, and maximize test coverage and efficiency.
- Design, execute, review, and document complex manual and automated test cases across multiple testing types.
- Own end-to-end testing, API testing, web and mobile application testing, defect reporting, and test result documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, business stakeholders, and SET teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality standards.
- Facilitate UAT activities and track testing metrics, coverage, defects, and process effectiveness.
- Drive testing process improvements, quality assurance practices, testing policies, standards, and automation strategies.
- Research and evaluate testing tools and techniques and recommend improvements to testing effectiveness.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level test engineers and support knowledge sharing.
- Resolve testing roadblocks, troubleshoot cross-functional issues, and lead test strategy and case reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of industry experience independently working on small or medium-sized projects and mentoring junior testing engineers.
- At least 5 years of manual and automated testing experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java or Python.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools.
- Strong experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with testing APIs and web and mobile applications.
- Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies, complex test scenarios, and automation techniques.
- Strong requirements analysis, troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Extensive experience with defect-tracking and documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to manage complex testing projects, analyze testing metrics, and lead testing strategy decisions.
