Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions according to business requirements and enterprise standards.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and internal or external systems using APIs, web services, and integration tools.
- Implement and evolve Now Assist, AI-powered automation, and ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and AIOps.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend solutions addressing functional and non-functional needs.
- Ensure solution quality, performance, security, maintainability, and platform governance compliance.
- Perform unit testing, support integration testing, and help resolve complex incidents and problems.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, product owners, delivery teams, and technology partners on technical approaches and implementation plans.
- Participate in deployment, release management, and solution promotion across environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process modernization.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to team members as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant software development experience, with exceptions possible for exceptionally skilled candidates.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and relevant frameworks such as SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose.
- Proficiency in TDD, DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in API integration and database technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform development, integrations, APIs, Now Assist, and ITOM is an asset.
