Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements and produce functional and technical designs, including workflows, business rules, and integrations.
- Ensure solutions align with target architecture, IT standards, and organizational best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, development teams, business partners, and quality assurance teams while supporting implementation activities.
- Contribute to estimations and planning, support testing phases, and analyze defects.
- Maintain design documentation and act as a key resource during production deployments and production support activities.
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT solution design.
- Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, with an understanding of complex application environments.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry, particularly underwriting and new business operations, is an asset.
- Experience with several of Azure DevOps, .NET 8, Git, SQL Server, MongoDB, BizTalk, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and mainframe environments.
- Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence capabilities to design, develop, or optimize modern web-based products and services within Azure DevOps environments.
- Intermediate spoken and written English proficiency and advanced spoken and written French proficiency.
