Responsibilities
- Build backend services for EBICS payment workflows using Python, Bash, and Golang.
- Design APIs and implement authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation payment flows.
- Write clean, testable backend code and integrate EBICS, SWIFT, and SEPA ISO 20022 protocols.
- Deploy and monitor services using Azure DevOps pipelines and Ansible playbooks.
- Integrate Axway for secure banking message transport.
- Debug production issues and collaborate with operations and security teams on reliability and compliance.
- Maintain secure code, document technical decisions, participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, and teach others how systems work.
Requirements
- Strong Python and Bash skills.
- Working familiarity with Golang, Oracle databases, Linux, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git, unit and functional testing, and release processes.
- Experience with Ansible and CI/CD workflows, plus basic knowledge of Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins.
- Curiosity about banking and payments, willingness to learn payment terminology, and interest in understanding business context.
- Professional experience with EBICS, SWIFT, or payments and knowledge of Axway are nice-to-have qualifications.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab Pipelines is a nice-to-have qualification.
