Responsibilities
- Design and execute tests for AWS infrastructure components including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFront.
- Perform load, performance, scalability, failover, backup, disaster recovery, security, and configuration testing.
- Validate CloudFormation or Terraform deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
- Monitor CI/CD deployments to AWS and execute pre- and post-deployment smoke testing.
- Perform functional and visual testing of Drupal pages, content structures, USWDS themes, navigation, templates, and accordion components.
- Test cross-browser, responsive, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility behavior, including screen reader and keyboard navigation.
- Validate AMS authentication integrations and content migration from the legacy information architecture.
- Document defects, environment issues, and infrastructure risks using Jira, Azure DevOps, Zephyr, or similar tools.
- Support regression testing after Drupal core and module updates.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance is required.
- 3–5 years of QA/testing experience with demonstrated hands-on AWS testing experience.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or a similar automated testing tool.
- Knowledge of Drupal 9/10 architecture and content structure.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Zephyr.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment workflows, and Agile development environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: AWS certification such as Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator, or Developer Associate.
- Preferred: experience testing government or public-sector web applications and ATO/compliance-driven environments.
- Preferred: Section 508 accessibility testing certification or equivalent trusted tester experience.
