Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain software throughout the full development lifecycle while meeting requirements and standards.
- Integrate software solutions with other system components and troubleshoot software modifications and integration issues.
- Support application builds, releases, deployments, configurations, requirements gathering, system design, testing, integration, and maintenance.
- Analyze, collect, and report software metrics to support product quality and performance standards.
- Participate in software working groups, customer discussions, quality reviews, and development of test procedures.
- Apply software best practices, maintain comprehensive documentation, and support short-term off-peak surge work for program milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of experience, a master’s degree with 3 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with relevant software engineering experience.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming languages, including C/C++.
- Development experience on Windows, Linux, and RTOS platforms such as LynxOS or VxWorks.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance, with interim Secret clearance acceptable to start.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required special program clearances.
- Preferred qualifications include DO-178C and aviation software certification experience, ARINC 429/422 and MIL-STD-1553 knowledge, avionics HIL/SIL testing, GitLab and Git proficiency, software documentation experience, and a current DoD Top Secret clearance.
