Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure solutions for Baxter products and applications.
- Manage infrastructure, platform, and deployment processes for product teams to support reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
- Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code solutions for automated infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Implement and support observability, monitoring, and alerting with Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and processes and drive proactive issue resolution.
- Identify and implement automation that improves operational efficiency, reliability, and engineering productivity.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- At least five years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering, or DevOps solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including architecture, deployment, monitoring, security, and operational support.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications in production.
- Strong understanding of networking, compute, storage, security, resiliency, and scalability principles.
- Experience with observability and monitoring solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems, automate processes, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
