Base Salary
$141k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, secure, patch, and operate self-hosted and managed MCP servers and maintain the MCP registry.
- Own the deployment patterns, guardrails, observability, and hosting platform used by teams building agents.
- Co-own the AWS Bedrock runtime and gateway, including model access, cost attribution, content filtering, model pinning, and quota management.
- Build a Bedrock-to-Snowflake usage pipeline with identity matching, tracking, and threshold alerting.
- Manage MDM configuration, desktop client setup, credentials, and authentication flows for non-technical employees.
- Build AI automations across Claude desktop, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Implement governance based on data sensitivity, least privilege, auditability, and model sandboxing.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps, including ownership of production systems used by others.
- Hands-on AWS experience with IAM, ECS or Lambda, CloudWatch, and VPCs.
- Full-stack experience with backend services, APIs, CI/CD, and containerized deployments.
- Ability to build MCP servers or API integrations from scratch rather than only configuring managed connectors.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent development, including shipped work.
- Ability to work independently on underspecified tasks and demonstrate ownership of upgrades, credentials, quotas, and on-call responsibilities.
